My Account Help

Once you have registered and signed in, the Register link at the upper right of all NMBCC pages changes to a link to My Account. From the My Account page you can select three features of your account to modify: My Profile, My Access Levels, and Edit My Collection(s).

My Profile

Use this to change your information that you entered when you registered. You may also use this section to change your password.

My Access Levels

Use this to see your access levels for each collection. Typically you will have professional access to all collections. You can also use this section to request collaborator access and to see the status of your request(s). Collaborator level access should only be used when there is a specific need for access to sensitive records. Collection Managers will also be able to see thier status here.

Edit My Collection(s)

This option is used by collection managers and curators to manage their data and information about their NMBCC data. Collection manager access can be granted by an NMBCC administrator to registered users. Please contact us if you feel you should have Collection Manager access. Once you have been given collection manager level access, further information on how to use this section is available after choosing the Edit My Collection(s) option on your My Account page.
